Michelle Valenzuela has been singing and writing music since the age of 12 and has been teaching voice and piano lessons for over 15 years. After earning her undergraduate degree in Music at California State University, Northridge followed by post-grad studies at UCLA she worked as a backup singer for Sheila E, All-4-One, Jamie Jones, and gospel singer Jonathan Butler. She's also worked as a demo singer for a number of producers on EMI and Universal Music Publishing Group. In 2015 she released a self-produced EP of all original music and continues to write her own music, co-write with other artists, and work as a session singer. In 2019 she released a country pop album called "Bitter Pill" which received a significant amount of radio play in FM stations throughout Southern California. She was featured on several music magazines including a review on Music Connection and an interview on Country Thang Daily. Her cover of "Folsom Prison Blues" has gained thousands of views on combined social platforms and has also received a significant amount of radio play.
